Description

The design of this pillow cover is taken from Frank Lloyd Wright's famed Imperial Hotel in Tokyo, Japan. Wright commenced work on the project in 1913, and the hotel officially opened its doors in 1923, quickly becoming a beloved architectural masterwork of Tokyo. Enduring numerous earthquakes, the landmark survived until its demolition in 1968. Fortunately, the hotel lobby and main entrance were preserved and later reconstructed at Japan's Museum Meji-mura in the same year. The 20x20 Foil Printed Geometry Checkerboard Squares Decorative Pillow is inspired by checkerboard patterns found in the Imperial Hotel. Each pillow has a signature whirling arrow embroidered on the back right corner along with a whirling arrow zipper pull. Available in Rust and Teal.
