Light and super warm!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I ordered this sleeping bag because I always FREEZE in my 20 degree bag, even when it's ~45 out. This bag is WARM and is sturdily made - great zipper. Love the gold color inside. It came with a loose storage bag.

I bought the 1991 version of this bag.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] In 1991, I bought a Marmot down sleeping bag with this degree rating. I have used it ever since and it is still going strong. I used it in more than forty US states and in Mexico, Mongolia, Afghanistan, Scotland, and Canada. It is a great bag with first-rate materials and craftsmanship. I will be 74 this year and am confident this wonderful bag will outlast me. The next place I will use it is Yosemite. Thank you, Marmot!

Amazing Bag

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is the nicest sleeping bag I have ever seen...seriously, and I am very fussy, tons of loft, warm, cozy, the Pertex feels very solid and tough, perfect for use, compared this to many other brands quality, loft, warmth, etc, this destroys them

Paiju -5 sleeping bag Review

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used this sleeping bag on a 5 day hunt in Nw Nebraska and South Dakota. Conditions were around 50s first couple of days and got down to around 23 at the end of it. We also experienced rain so this bag was put to the test. Bag kept me very warm the entire time. I had the long so the foot box rested along the tent. If the tent was wet the bag got wet but I never felt and dampness or cooling because of it. I was worried about the down the entire time because of other reviews I read. This bag stay warm and dry in the inside. Second to last day I found some plumes of down coming out of the zipper. I don’t know if whoever sewed the bag missed an inch but there was enough room for the down to escape. Got home and sent the bag back for a full refund. Great customer service and everything was handled to my liking. Just think there needs a better zipper on it or QC the seams before shipping it out. Hoping to buy the lithium to replace it and try that one out. If your going to spend the $$$$$ it needs to be right.

Great Winter Bags

We used these for the first time on a 4 day back country trip in Lassen. They worked great and kept us warm at night. A great, lighter weight option for winter exploration.

So Much Loft and Luxury

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased this for winter camping in the High Sierras. I carefully inspected my new bag and was impressed with the quality of the build. The bag fluffs up so big I had an immense sense of the strength and quality (look at that great zipper) of the bag to protect me from cold. I returned from my first trip with it to the snow in the Southern Sierras last night. It was in the 20's with snow on the ground. Unfortunately, my return home was due to a severe state-wide Covid-19 lock-down and I was not able to use my new bag yet. Just looking at my new bag in my equipment closet gives me hope for a new future. I wish everyone peace and joy as we all make sacrifices this holiday season. For now I will just stare at my incredible new sleeping bag and dream of the trips to come.
