The zombie apocalypse is in its infancy when a mutated strain of the zombie virus causes some people to return from the dead completely healed. They feel normal, but they're not. They're Self-Aware and in order for the virus not to break down, they have to eat another human in order to stay alive. Little is known about this mutation, including how many have it, or how long it will last, but in order to survive, they've got to blend in with other humans - and decide who lives and who dies - all while fighting off decaying zombies who can't tell the difference.
