On July 6, 2005 Rhonda's world changed within the few moments of a telephone call. Her oldest son Brandon who was working full time while also a full-time student had been shot point blank in the chest and had died. The whirlwind of pain over the senseless murder sent Rhonda on a voyage of emotions that brought her through various agonizing stages of grief, but it was an underlying, unwavering faith in God that provided her with healing and strength in the face of the most devastating experience a person could live through; the murder of a child. Wanting to share God's unconditional love and healing MY JOURNEY HOME is a testimony of comfort and endurance that is written to give hope and direction to those who are struggling to make sense of such tragic events, while attempting to put the remaining pieces of their lives back together.
