Several years ago, we personally found ourselves happily engaged but challenged with the opportunity to create a wedding that was suitable for our age and also blended our family and friends.

Where do we start? Nothing in our life experiences prepared us for being a bride and getting married later in life.

We weren’t 22 anymore! But - we had established successful businesses, we appreciated what we had learned from our personal experiences and were living complete and interesting lives. And then our dream of finding “Mr. Wonderful” came true! We were excited about getting married and looked forward to planning a wedding - but soon realized there were different decisions and challenges involved in planning a wedding that younger brides do not have to consider.

There is now a growing number of Internet dating sites appealing to mature men and women who want to find a partner. We wrote our first book to address some of the issues involved in finding - and marrying - a mature, lifetime companion. This second edition of Marrying Later in Life addresses issues that are not included in our first book. Our second edition of Marrying Late in Life is superior and more relevant because we designed our first book to be a guide for couples Marrying Later in Life but now we realize, from our readers and research, that there is still more we can add to the conversation!
