How does this spotting scope compare to a Nikon P 1000 camera in low light Manufacturer Answer

Cameras and spotting scopes are remarkably different optical systems, and would have a considerably different user experience when used in low-light scenarios. As a digital camera could and would enhance colors and lighting on-screen, and use delayed or extended exposures to allow for enhanced low-light imagery, this would be a difficult comparison. I bought this scope mainly for target spotting, but a friend showed me where to spot the planets. I bought a water proof case at Harbor freight and the foam the scope was shipped in fit perfectly in the case.
