No pillow sham covers are kept in stock. After your order is processed, each sham will be created just for you in the size that you specify and printed with the art image you've chosen. At ArtFromDenise you’re guaranteed brand new items created in a smoke & pet-free space that have never been touched by the retail public. It truly is created just for you.
Your preferred design will be printed with digital files of my original painting using sublimation technology, which is the same process used to create fabric for fabric stores. The difference here is bolts of pre-printed fabric are not used. The fabric is printed for your order only in exactly the right size for each product selection, which eliminates fabric scraps and waste. After printing, the item is hand made by my production partner, who will then package and ship your order in approximately 10 business days.

✹ MICROFIBER = light weight, super cozy fabric that resembles the feel of microfiber with yummy smooth softness. This fabric is also very durable and easy to spot clean. Drop down menu code: 'M-Fiber'.
✹ BRUSHED POLYESTER = medium weight, lightly woven and not considered soft. Drop down menu code: 'B-Poly'
☼ CARE INSTRUCTIONS
All duvet covers, pillow covers and sham covers are machine washable. Remove insert, turn inside out and wash in cold water on delicate cycle with mild detergent. Tumble dry on the lowest heat setting and remove promptly. Do not bleach. You can also spot clean in between washings.
►► INFORMATION ON COLORS:
Most people that shop online for home decor have learned that color hues and color intensity in two dimensional online images can look different than the real three dimensional product. A lot of this depends on your monitor settings, as well as the lighting in your room where you're viewing the monitor and the angle/tilt of a computer screen. Plus, different fabrics absorb inks differently. For these reasons, color matching is not guaranteed. Due to the nature of working with different product sizes, pattern placement may also differ slightly from the above images.
In case you're wondering, fabric swatches are not available. It may seem like a simple thing, but my textiles aren't made with bolts of pre-printed fabric. Each item is created after each order is placed using print-on-demand fabric. Before the sewing process starts, the fabric is printed with my artwork in exactly the right size for each product selection, which eliminates fabric scraps and waste. This kind of made-to-order custom printed fabric by the yard is pricier than bolts of fabric. In other words, there's just no affordable way for me to offer 'print on demand' fabric swatches. With hundreds of art designs to choose from, trying to keep samples of each one in each fabric isn't financially feasible for a tiny one person art business like mine. This is also one of the reasons why I don't carry an inventory.
If you're trying to match or coordinate with specific colors in your decor, I recommend ordering the mini 10x14" accent pillow or a small pillow cover in this series to test the colors before placing a larger order. These small pillow options are the lowest priced items in my shop and they're close to what an order for a 'print on demand' fabric swatch would have to sell for. If the pillow doesn't work with your home decor, you can always gift it or use it in your car as a small lumbar or travel pillow.
NOTE: All thread and/or hidden zippers used in the creation of pillows, shams and duvet covers are white. No other thread or zipper options are available. This is the only way the specialized company that prints and sews my home decor items can manage all of their orders. It may also seem like a simple thing to match thread and zipper colors to the fabric design, but unless it's a HUGE multi-million dollar manufacturing company, it's simply not practical when every item they print and sew for us artists has unique colors and they make hundreds of pillows or dozens of duvets on a daily basis out of all those different fabrics. They would have to stock hundreds if not thousands of thread and zipper colors options to match each unique item. Also, prices would be substantially higher due to the additional production time, supply inventory and production space required.

This Etsy shop doesn't carry an inventory. All ArtFromDenise home decor items are considered custom because each item is MADE TO ORDER after your order is placed. This eliminates wasteful inventory costs and ultimately allows this small art business to remain sustainable. Each order is usually processed within a few hours and production starts soon after. Each item is individually printed and sewn by Denise's production partner and they ship direct to the customer. This production process cannot be reversed. For these reasons, no refunds will be issued for cancellations or returns, and no exchanges will be accepted. This includes instances where a buyer purchased from ArtFromDenise and changed their mind, ordered the wrong size, the wrong design or art piece, colors didn't match their screen images, or they didn't read the item description or shop policies. Please purchase responsibly.
In the extremely rare case that an item is defective or damaged during shipment, a replacement will be sent. But only if photos showing proof of defect or damage are emailed to Denise within 48 hours of delivery.
