Our chests made from solid wood & have brass colored hardware on the top, darker bronzed hardware around the sides/front/back. Some stains will leave a wash of stain on the hardware (whitewash, grey, black and barn red). Wording is painted in white, black, silver or gold paint in a style of choice (see samples) . We do not use stickers! Chests come with either a decorative or locking hasp. The locking hasp comes with a lock & key of choice. A decorative hasp will NOT fit a lock. A slot can be added in the lid (3\" is ideal for money & 7\" for cards/letters) Sizes are approx. as are the number of cards that fit each box (will vary based on size & thickness of cards); Small- OUT : 7.75 x 5.75 x 6 IN: 6 7/8\" x 5 1/8\" x 3 1/4\" **Recommended for money ONLY Medium- OUT: 9.75 x 7.75 x 8.5 IN: 9.25\" x 7.25 x 4 5/8 **fits approx 50 cards** NOTE: Each is made from natural wood. Inside joints are glued for added security. There will be spots on the inside the stain doesn't absorb due to the glue, that may look unstained. Shading will vary piece to piece and from photos, depending on underlying wood. Wood grain will show through the stain on all colors as is the nature of stain! SHIPPING via UPS or USPS. We require the item to be checked for damage within 48 hours of delivery. Do not throw away item or packaging.
