size: 18x12in Art Print: Declaration of Independence by John Trumbull: Prominent American Revolutionary War artist, John Trumbull (1756 - 1843), son of the Governor of Connecticut, created the iconic work "The Declaration of Independence" which appears on the back of the two dollar bill. Despite the loss of one eye to a childhood accident, Trumbull completed 250 paintings including battle scenes to portraiture of President Washington. After Trumbull became President of the American Academy of Fine Arts, students rebelled against his dictatorial fervor to found The National Academy of Design. His masterpieces hang in the US Congress as well as in top collections at museums and universities.
