The Dubuque UC-76A Shelf and Corner Clamp simplifies assembling corners and shelves. The 90-degree orientation of the jaw enables it to operate on a right-angle joint. The unique rotating Wedgegrip jaw locks onto the work with a levering action that increases applied force as the screw on the opposing end is tightened. This action provides targeted clamping force and eliminates the need to access both sides of your project to make adjustments. The UC-76A attaches much closer to the joint, resulting in less risk of bowing, which is common with traditional bar clamps. Once the clamp locks onto the work, it will remain in place even when the screw is released. A sharp tap on the squared area of the pad towards the screw will release the clamp.
