Handmade & hand painted in Portugal, you can easily hang them on the wall. in Portugal we hang them outside , on the wall. Is typical & symbolizes prosperity & happiness at home & family :) Dimensions: Large swallow - 20 cm x 15 cm / 7,87'' x 5,91'' Medium swallow- 15,5 cm x 12 cm / 5,91'' x 4,72'' Small swallow - 14 cm X 10,5 cm / 5,51'' x 3,94'' X-Small swallow - 10,5 cm X 7 cm / 3,94'' x 2,76'' Sardine 20cm x 4 cm These swallows go through many processes until they are finished & ready to fly! After a first firing at 900º they are painted by hand & then I apply a layer of transparent glaze to go to a second firing at 1020º. They also can be hung on an outside wall (provided they are hung on the wall securely). The paint will not come off, it will not lose shine or color over time.
