Beverly, Massachusetts is home in so many ways for me. It's where my Dad's laundromat has been since I was little, right on Cabot Street. It's where my husband & I rented our first 600 square foot apartment just a quick walk away from Brackenbury Beach. We lived right by Independence Park on Lothrop Street with a view of the ocean. We'd walk along the shore a lot. & later, when we moved to North Beverly, we drive over & do that same walk at least once a week, now with our little dachshund. Painting places close to home means a lot to me, so when a lovely couple reached out to commission this piece for their anniversary as it's where they got married, I couldn't be more excited to work on it.
