If you have ever seen a Clydesdale or a Percheron horse, you have no doubt of their beauty, their stature & their majesty. Also known as workhorses for the very obvious reason that their size & strength make them just that, workers on the farms & the wagons across the continents, particularly Britain, France, Ireland, Belgium & America. There are many breeds recognized as Draught (Draft or Dray)) horses, & I have chosen some beauties to highlight here. I have been collecting vintage images for years, drawn by their charm, their style, versatility. For the first time this year, I have decided to share a few of them here on Etsy, wanting others to have the pleasure of enjoying them, so many forgotten, all of them unique & beautiful. Cards come as collections of 8 in a kraft paper box with clear top for easy storage. $24. for 8 cards. They are individually hand-printed here in my studio in Hudson, NY. They measure 4.25"x 5.5" & come with envelopes.
