An original, heavy (2 pounds) bronze, possibly brass, door knocker. The casting is fine, this isn't a reproduction. We believe this door knocker is either French or Spanish, & from the 1800s, probably around 1880. The figural is a moustached head of a man atop an ornate antler, possibly a game keeper or hunter.
