Description
This primitive Vintage Valentine Mail Box is a unique & absolutely beautiful piece for your Valentine Decorating. The mailbox is approx 16" tall, 10" wide, 4" deep & no two are alike. The mailbox is sewn out of muslin, batting & polyfil. I used a special painting technic on the mailbox & it's pocket & brushed gold paint on the outer trim. The mailbox has a gold cording attached to it also. in the mailbox pocket has a couple letters with valentine stamps on them, a red painted heart, green moss & a scrap of red stained cheese cloth. I attached a rusty jingle bell with a rusty safety pin on for the knob. At the top are 4 handmade red roses & leaves with a stained muslin bow. The bow has Sweetheart & XOXO on it. Under the mailbox pocket are the letters M A I L . Lastly I dusted the piece with mica & placed a hanger on the upper back.
