Listing is for one Oyster Shell serving plate. I hand build & shape each shell, one at at time. No two are alike. I try to keep them around the same size. Most are approximately 4" x 3", but some may be slightly smaller or bigger. The colors also vary as the layered glazes create a random effect every time. I make the plates using brown stoneware clay. All of the shells are glazed white on the inside & combinations of blue & green over black on the outside. They are oven & microwave safe. These shells are featured at the award winning Snuff Mill Restaurant & Butchery with their popular Carpet Bagger appetizer. They have been pictured in the Philadelphia Inquirer, Edible Delmarva, Delaware Today Magazine & Out & About Magazine. Slight variations are inevitable in handmade work & add to the charm & unique character of each piece.
