Our handcrafted Bronze Periwinkle design earrings will hold lightweight standard charms...or look quite elegant as they are. They are a lovely 8th anniversary gift, gift for a friend, or just to treat yourself! This design was inspired by the many little periwinkles who live on the breakwater where I grew up. They have very graceful shells for such tiny creatures. Approx sizes (including handmade Bronze Earwires) is; Small - 1 3/4 inch x 3/4 inch Med - 2 inch x 1 inch oooo I do make multiples of these, but each one is hand bent, & no two are alike. I do not use jigs. I make them with .040 bronze wire, which I hand stretch, cut, free form bend, & then hammer. You can see the hammer marks on all of my free form jewelry, I angle the hammer on purpose to let them come out. When the light plays over them, they will shimmer & reflect the colours around you. Please note, ALL of our earrings come with a satin gift bag. If you choose Holiday gift wrap it means paper wrapping with a bow.
