I am not a camera expert, but I simply adore the look & memories that cameras like this evoke. Many of the cameras I find were made by Kodak, of course, & this is the first Foldex bellows camera I have found. It's a thrill to find old cameras made by competitors of Kodak, because so many of those companies & their products were fleeting given the power & huge market share of Kodak. The Foldex camera was made by the Pho-Tak Corporation of Chicago, Illinois, & it's no accident that the name "Pho-Tak" phonetically combines "photo" & "kodak". The Company operated from 1948 to 1960, & was affiliated with the US Camera Corporation. The camera is in fair condition, with some obvious wear & loss to the outside of the case. All the metal parts look to be virtually rust-free, & the lenses look crisp & clean. The camera opens & closes properly & fairly smoothly. The camera measures about 6 1/8" long by 3 5/8" wide & 4 7/8" when extended. FREE shipping within the United States. I'll gladly combine shipping with other items whenever possible.
