Description
This authentic, late Edwardian to early 1920's men's hat is the bowler style (or Derby style in the USA). It is made in London England & has the "The King Hat" label in gold, "Lyons London MFG" with the British hatter's tag affixed under the leather hat band. The original owner's name (A S Robertson) is penned on the underside of the removable hat hand in addition to his initials "ASR" written above the band stamp. This is a lightweight, firm bodied bowler with tiny air holes perforation the top of the crown. The brim is trimmed in black grosgrain ribbon & there is a matching hatband with flat bow around the crown. This is very natty but please note the wear around the edges. The grosgrain brim trim is shattering in quite a few places & can be replaces.
