All of these envelopes & postage are in excellent vintage condition (some yellowing with age, but no stains or rips). 1). First Day of Issue, Inaugurating the United States Postal Service July 1, 1971, Post Office Department, U.S. Mail. 2). 6c Regular Issue "Old Glory" Long May It Wave, The White House, North Front, Washington, D. C. The date of issue is August 7, 1970 issued from Washington, DC with a 6 cent stamp. 3). Liberty Bell 1 6/10c Embossed Envelope, For An Authorized Non-Profit Organization. The date of issue is June 16, 1969 issued from Washington, DC with a 5 cent stamp & a 1 6/10 cent stamp. 4). Special Delivery, New Rate 45c.
