Description

There you go - advertisements that uplift & educate. Not sure if they survive but this tickles my history major/buff sensibilities somethin' fierce! This beautiful 14x10.5 inch advert was rescued from a December, 1952, issue of Country Gentleman. The Country Gentleman was an American agricultural magazine founded in 1831, purchased by Curtis Publishing Company in 1911 [As in Saturday Evening Post], & in 1955, with its circulation at 2,870,380 [Second most popular agriculture magazine in the US], it was purchased by, & merged into, Farm Journal, an agricultural magazine with a slightly larger circulation. This ad, framed or otherwise mounted, will be a focus of interest no matter where you display it, whether an office, a living room, a den/man cave, or a work space. Enjoy the magic of creative American advertising! While you are purchasing this piece of Americana, why not search our offerings for one or more other vintage ads to display with this one? We have many to choose from! Purchases will be shipped to you promptly & securely via USPS first class mail. Additional advertisements purchased at the same time will be shipped at no additional charge.
