Pseudomonas aeruginosa cross stitch, completed in 3" round natural wood embroidery hoop -The Story - GERMS! They're everywhere. You can't avoid them, not entirely so why not incorporate them into your decor? If you're into science, or just germs, or cleanliness, or if you're a hypochondriac, you might like to see your interests/worst fears immortalized in stitchwork. Luckily, now you can. This listing is for one pseudomonas aeruginosa microbe. +Pseudomonas is a bacteria found in soil, water, & on the surfaces of plants & animals. It's typically a plant pathogen, but it is also an opportunistic pathogen, which means that it will infect whatever it can get into any kind of tissue that has compromised defenses & can cause UTIs, respiratory problems, a huge variety of infections, & major problems in anyone with cancer, serious burns, or cystic fibrosis. -The Deets - This listing is for just what you see in the first two pictures: one light & dark teal pseudomonas cross stitch with the scientific name stitched in black at the bottom of a 3" natural wood embroidery hoop. This microbe is part of a series of microbe & germ cross stitches that will feature a variety of brightly-colored microscopic viruses/bacteria/etc, each stitched on white Aida cloth & framed in 3" natural wood hoop frames. Find more in the Microbes & Germs section of my shop (linked below), where the other pictured microbes are also available. The back of each germ or microbe will be protected by loose felt that clings to the back; the felt will not be glued to the hoop, in order to allow for easier cleaning & re-stretching, should that become necessary. CUSTOMIZE: If you would like three or more microbes, look for special listings in the Microbes section of my shop, or convo me to request a special order. I love custom orders; let me know if you're looking for a microbe you don't see here, & I'll stitch it for you! SHIP: This stitch will be made to order & sent via USPS first class (with delivery confirmation) or international first class mail within about a week of your order, usually sooner, unless I convo you otherwise or a shipping delay is noted in my policies, shop banner or shop announcement (below the banner). It will ship as pictured to anywhere in the world, & excess s&h charges will be refunded (especially for international orders, as it's hard to predict the weight in advance). GIFT WRAP: Let me know if you are giving this microbe as a gift, & I'll wrap it up in plain paper & include a little notecard for your "to" & "from" or tell me if you'd like me to send it directly to the recipient & what message you'd like to include, & I'll write it out for you before I pop it in the mail. -The Links - Want to stitch it yourself?
