These plump, delicious vanilla beans are soft & full of delicate vanilla "caviar", or little seeds. It's those seeds that give these beans their heavenly aroma. If you've used vanilla extract & never beans, you'll be amazed by the depth of the vanilla smell & taste that comes from these beans. You can make vanilla extract with these beans by soaking them in vodka for a few months, or add a few pieces to your vanilla extract to transform it. You can cut up the beans & add a section at a time to your sugar bowl for a burst of gorgeous aroma every time you remove the lid. You can chop up a bean & add it to a jar of sugar for use in baking. Or grind a little piece with salt for a remarkable condiment for fish. Please note: We're experiencing a world-wide shortage of vanilla beans. While I'd love to keep my prices as they were then, there's no way to do so. NB: We no longer ship to Germany. sorry to say.
