Personalize this exclusive Birthday or Anniversary design for a beautiful custom wood sign This Whiskey/Bourbon Barrel Lid is from a genuine oak barrel used to age bourbon. We acquire the barrels from a local distillery after they have been used to age bourbon for at least four years. Government regulations require bourbon to be aged in new barrels. So this is a great way to recycle the used barrels. You can add your Personalized Text to the design pictured above. We can also use your logo or create a custom design for you. The lids themselves measure approximately 21" to 22" inches in diameter (no 2 lids are identical as they are genuine reclaimed lids) & approximately 1 inch thick. The support pieces on back are 1/2' to 3/4" thick. So the signs can be 1-1/2" to 1-3/4" thick in total. We attach a wire to the back support piece for hanging (See photo 3). If you would like a different method of hanging, please message us. The sign is finished with Australian Timber Oil - a durable penetrating sealer that provides a natural finish. We do not recommend applying any other product to the sign as it may react with the Australian Timber Oil & ruin the sign. These signs are made with reclaimed genuine retired barrel heads - & intended for interior use only. We will send a mockup for your approval, (usually within 24 hours).
