Custom Made Vacuum Tube Tester Light - Hand Carved Wood Box with RAYTHEON 6146 Tube on Top - Strange Piece I got this tube light from a repairmans estate - it might be a tube tester - not sure but the tube glows with a very dim glow when it is on. That said - it is a very well made device - nicely hand carved wood box with a transformer inside to power the tube - switch on front to turn it on & fuse on the back. Heavy & well made - size is 6.25" x 5.25" x 7.5" high with the tube. Great display - nice vintage look - cool piece for the vintage electronics collector.
