This sweet, handmade, wheel thrown miniature crock is modeled on the old crocks used to preserve food & drink in colonial times from Pennsylvania to the Ohio river valley. It features a black underglazed primitive whale decoration on gray stoneware clay & features tiny lug handles & a star stamp (just for fun & added interest.) What makes it different? I've atomized a random speckling of brown underglaze to the surface to create a rustic look. Unique to Tiny Wren, these were fun to create!
