This large maritime map was printed in Washington D.C. by the U.S. Coast & Geodetic Survey of the U.S. Department of Commerce & was issued January 1967. It shows the Jersey Shore from Sandy Hook to Little Egg Harbor, including detail of Barnegat Bay. This is an authentic map of the era - it is not a reproduction, not a re-print, & not a digital print. The map is DOUBLE SIDED. The map comes with the three paneled original protective paper sleeve, which is printed with lots of useful information for small boat operators. The map is interesting as it shows the soundings (depth) of the rivers in feet, & it shows the clearance heights of all the bridges, all of the navigational lights & structures, & temporary & permanent anchorages. It has scales & tidal information. This large map measures about 58" wide (almost 6 feet) by 15" high & it is printed in color. The map is in good condition. Some authentic vintage stains & dirt, as well as some wear to the edges & corners, especially to the cover. FREE shipping within the United States.
