Here is a beautiful little teapot for your consideration. Always brightly colored & wonderfully detailed, this Kelvin Chen enameled metal teapot has pretty sea blue & sea green backgrounds throughout. The front & back are blue & feature wonderful sea turtles swimming around with seaweed & coral coming up from the base, & little fish & smaller turtles swimming about them. The large sea turtle has a green & tan shell, while the body is yellow with mustard tan spots. So many intricate markings on the turtles. The blue background is mottled to really make is seem like the pretty blue sea with the prisms of light from the sunshine (see on top of the teapot) shining into the deep. The handle & spout have a mottled sea green background with tiny red dots here & there. The rim of the cover & the base of the teapot both have a wide pink & blue checked design. The trim all around the edges is that of gold. The finial is a copper knob. The inside of the cover & the pot are blue with speckles. This piece is marked on the bottom with, "Kelvin Chen". The inside of the handle is white. A wonderful piece for your collection or to brighten up your shelf. Love turtles? This one is for you!
