ANTIQUE LENOx COBALT & SILVER PLATE TEAPOT Made for the Down Town Club of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania by R. Wallace & Lenox China. Vintage Hotel Silver Plate frame with dark blue china teapot. Teapot measures 4 inches high by 7 inches from spout across handle. The initials of the name, " D T C" engraved on top with the insignia. Date unknown, from 1930's - 1950's. The Down Town Club was located in Independence Square. Individual Serving size for one cup of tea. Very good antique condition. Hotel silver plate is lightly polished, authentic patina. Blue glaze is beautiful. Spotless Interior is very nice. Manufacturer's marks on interior of cover, "R. Wallace 0552 Silver Soldered - Downtown Club ". Base, " Lenox 8 Oz. " Heavy teapot well made.
