Firefighter Helmet Shield - Custom Leather Fireman Shield - Personalized This fire helmet shield is made from two high grade pieces of leather. Each shield is made from two pieces of 8-9 ounce vegetable tanned leather. Each shield is laser cut & engraved custom to your specifications. After engraving the shield is hand dyed & antiqued for that custom look. I use thicker leather because I know the amount of heat these shields take. My personal shield has seen numerous fires & still looks almost as good as the day I made it. Just a little dirtier. Since each of my shields is custom made, I can engrave any names or numbers on it you would like. Feel free to convo me with any questions. This shield with fit most helmets with traditional style fronts on them. The outer shield or letters can be dyed in a variety of different colors. If you want something just a little different, more than likely I can do it. Helmet fronts make great gifts for firefighters. It shows their personality while showing dedication to their department & crew.
