This framed seashell mosaic is absolutely incredible! It is beautifully crafted from broken seashells, sand, & what appears to be dried seaweed. This image features a narrow street flanked by small buildings, with several pedestrians & a whimsical rabbit in the foreground. It measures approximately 18.5" x 16" framed. The mosaic itself is in very good vintage condition with minimal losses. The frame does have some rubs & marks, but it still presents quite beautifully. This glorious piece is reminiscent of Victorian works such as the "sailors valentines". I have never seen anything like this! Its 3-D texture & stylized forms make it a true stand out!
