Here's The Story: in 1995 I Was 37 Years Old & At This Fight. Prior To The Fight I Had Decided That I Would Try To Get Some Autographs. I Saw Lou Duva Going Into An Elevator & Jumped in With Him. I Asked For His Autograph & He Signed The Program Insert. (Pictured) I Made The Mistake Of Asking Him If I Could Go With Him & Get Evander Holyfield's Autograph Also. He Got A Little Upset & Said "He's Getting Ready To Go Into The Biggest Fight Of His Life & You Want To Ask Him For His Autograph?" (TRUE STORY) So I Decided To Get Off The Elevator & Head To The Lobby. As I Was Waiting & Looking Around For More Famous People To Get Autographs From I Saw Sugar Ray Leonard Approaching & Asked Him For His Autograph. I Must Be 150% Honest in Telling You How This Encounter Went. He Did Not Make Eye Contact With Me & Was EXTREMELY (Like x 1000) Put Out, Cocky & Arrogant. He Very Curtly Flipped His Hand Open, Took My Pen & Signed His Name. He Didn't Say A Word & Then Walked Off. That Experience Is Something I've Never Forgot. Anyhow, Fast Forward 27 Years. I've Had This Program in A Desk Drawer Since Then. It's Not Perfect But Still in Very Nice Condition. (Please See All Pictures) The 2 Autographs I Remember, The Other 3 I Can't Remember. The One On The Top Left Must Have Been A Boxing Champion Because It Has "Champ" Signed Right Below The Signature.
