This unusual figural vase dates to the 1970s or 80s & it is stamped on the back "handcrafted in Colorado" with another stamp below that. I can't find out anything on this Particular studio & welcome any information on it. The vase looks like a paper bag that's been tight at the top with a drawstring. It even has a suede cord that's tied around the top with little ceramic balls on the end. The base is made of a textured type of ceramic & an off-white with a beautiful blue leaf feathery design. The top of it is a denim color & it's handmade & one-of-a-kind. It's very unusual & interesting. in very good to excellent vintage preowned used condition, the vase is free from damage or repair. This is a great example of lovely American art pottery. Please take the time to view all the photos carefully & zoom in to see details.
