Star of Joy is a bit challenging, & would be a good project for a confident beginner or intermediate level quilter. It finishes at 54 x 54. This listing is for the printed copy which will be mailed to you. This pattern features a radiating star design in the blocks & a pieced sashing that forms more stars. The beautiful red, green & gold fabrics make it a perfect quilt for Christmas, but it would be lovely in other color schemes as well! I include directions for piecing this block with templates, & also include a foundation paper piecing template for those who enjoy that technique. It can also be pieced using specialty rulers such as Tri Recs. This quilt is a great weekend project & features lovely Island Batik fabrics.
