Antique Budd Orange Soda Label, Newport, Lebanon, New Hampshire 1920s 4 1/4" x 3 3/4" ~ These are a rare version of this label. It was when they were bottling in Lebanon, NH (the town I live in BTW, neat fact lol). I don't have a lot of these left & if you need it to complete your set or to start your set make sure you grab it now. These labels are amazing & highly collectible & I remember when these were found. There weren't a lot of the Lebanon, NH ones. None of them were in many collections because of the limited region they operated in & the supply went really fast because they have such a cool design with elegant gold & glass. Living in New Hampshire you hear my elders talk about Budd Beverage products with such nostalgia. Budd's Beverages, Inc. was founded in 1916. They never planned on opening a beverage industry they were concentrating on providing groceries to the burgeoning Polish community in Newport, NH. in 1922 they had an opportunity to use the Newport Bottling Works & began manufacturing carbonated beverages. By the 1930s Budds was famous & sought after all over Vermont & New Hampshire. They closed their door permanently in 1972.
