Our doormats are made with high-quality 100% natural coir. They are .5 to .75 inches thick & come in a range of sizes. Please note that since our mats are hand cut, exact dimensions can vary +/ - an inch. All mats are backed with a slip-resistant PVC rubber backing. To clean the mat, shake it out. Spot treat stains, but do not scrub design or saturate in water. To prolong the life of the mat, keep in a dry, sheltered area. Since coir is made from the husks of coconuts, some fibers may be thicker or thinner than others. There may also be chunks of husks in the fibers. CARE Gently hoover or shake your mat to clean. Although you can use your doormat outside, please bear in mind that the design will last much longer if you use the mat indoors as being exposed to the elements makes decorative coir doormats wear out quicker. This mat has a PVC backing so if it gets very wet you will need to pick it up & drape it over something to allow the water to drain away. We recommend that you keep your doormat in a dry, covered area to prolong the life of the design. To clean, simply shake or vacuum away any debris.
