a classic Alpine Trachten DIRNDL SCARF woven in the Jacquard style, a Damask Weave, The Scarf is DOUBLE SIDED - one side is dark & the other side is light, reversing the colors of the design. The design is a mixture of FLORAL FOLK ART & GEOMETRIC STRIPES with a Rococo feeling (18th century) The main color is lilac PURPLE with dark to light BROWN Accents plus a dash of White. It gives the scarf a nice shimmer. Unfortunately, the camera is not picking up the light brown. The scarf is prettier than on the pictures.
