Description
This is a simple little clip-on adapter with two additional slots so that you can open the type of emergency window window shown in the photos just a bit, about half way, or fully open. The typical tilt-out emergency exit window has lever that allows you to open the window for some fresh air, but the window can only be fully opened, or fully closed. For times when it is raining, or windy, you may want to just have the window open a bit to still get some air while not letting the rain blow in, or risk the window being damaged from high winds. Note - This does not include the metal lever!! That is part of the window. This listing is only for the 3d printed red plastic parts. Photos with the parts installed & in-use on the metal window lever are for demonstration only. This also includes a small wedge-shaped lock that you can use to help secure the window latch in place during windy times. Due to the way these emergency window latches work, wind can sometimes knock them loose which results in the window flapping around, or the lever pulling completely through the latch area requiring you to go outside & feed the lever back into the window. The little locking wedge puts some tension on the latch, which will help keep the window in place even if it is windy outside.
