An fusion of weave & knit. An elegant luxury cowl made with handwoven & hand knitted fabric. The fabric was woven or knitted with fine 2/17nm lambswool yarn. This cowl is lightweight & has a lovely warmth & would be a perfect luxury gift. The handwoven fabric has been lovingly woven on a Louet floor loom using a deflected doubleweave pattern. The fabric has purple, navy (almost black) & white shades with the woven fabric pieces then sewn together with some hand knitted fabric which has been made with the same purple yarn used for the weaving. The cowl has been sewn into a tube & then sewn with a twist. An easy to wear item - just pop over your head for instant style with warmth. My shop has lots of cowls so do look at the range for other colour combinations. Sponge dry or wash by hand in cool water with minimal agitation. Do not tumble dry.
