Description

Treat yourself to a fine dinner by cooking up a USDA Choice Angus Beef Boneless Strip Steak. This is a lean, tender, full-flavored cut of beef that is also know as "Club Steak" and sometimes as "Ambassador Steak."How Do You Cook Thin Cut Strip Steak? There are many ways to cook a thin cut strip steak. One delicious recipe requires you cook the meat by pan searing it. Adding a little butter to a skillet will add richness and keep the lean beef moist without adding a lot of fat. Keep in mind that with butter comes smoke. It's a good idea to keep your exhaust fan on high while cooking. Another option is to cook the steak in a skillet on a hot outdoor grill.Directions: Sprinkle salt and pepper evenly over the steaks. Heat your skillet (preferably a large cast-iron skillet) over high heat. Add oil to pan to coat, add steaks. Cook three minutes on each side until browned. Reduce heat to medium low, add butter, thyme and garlic to pan. Cook 1-1/2 minutes basting steaks with butter constantly. Remove steaks from pan and let stand for 10 minutes. Enjoy.
