The DEFIANT Smart Compatible Wired Contractor Doorbell Kit works with any wired doorbell button rated for at least 16VAC and any wired doorbell chime rated for 24V or less. With two mechanical sound melodies to choose from - a ding-dong or a ding, at 85dB you'll hear the sound throughout your home. This package includes one white finish doorbell chime cover that is large enough to fit over a Smart module making it ideal for any home, and one 16VAC-30VA transformer. The higher voltage transformer is intended to work with ANY Smart doorbell or video doorbell system so you can rest assured it will work for your house. The included instruction sheet makes installation a breeze though it is always recommended to consult a certified electrician when installing any electrical item.
