The slip fitting allows for the removal of only the damaged section of pipe (up to 2 in.) without having to replace the whole pipe. SharkBite Max fittings feature a newly designed stainless-steel retainer that delivers additional strength and durability while providing a 400 PSI pressure rating. The re-engineered body allows you to insert the pipe using less effort, making repairs even easier. No soldering, clamps, unions, glue or special tools are required for installation.
