Description

This ready to hang, gallery-wrapped art piece features rocks in the sand on a beach. Mathieu Rivrin was born in 1989 in Brest, a city in the northwestern part of France. He bought his first camera at age 21 to take photographs of Grenoble, the city where he conducted his studies. He became a member of Breizh'scapes, a collective of 6 landscape photographers in Western France, in November of 2012. Since then he has built a collection of landscape photographs, taken in HDR, providing a greater dynamic range of luminosity than most photographs provide. He also plans to start creating more architectural images in the future. Giclee (jee-clay) is an advanced printmaking process for creating high quality fine art reproductions. The attainable excellence that Giclee printmaking affords makes the reproduction virtually indistinguishable from the original piece. The result is wide acceptance of Giclee by galleries, museums, and private collectors. Gallery wrap is a method of stretching an artist's canvas so that the canvas wraps around the sides and is secured a hidden, wooden frame. This method of stretching and preparing a canvas allows for a frameless presentation of the finished painting. Color: Multi.
