Most commonly used and compatible with for Snuglid/Snugtop brand (SL & F2 models) and compatible with Snuglid style Tonneau covers with 2 single lift assist arms. Fits other similar brand of fiberglass tonneau covers / truck lids, but measurement is required to ensure fit..These are not compatible with all Snuglid fiberglass tonneau models (they do NOT fit ANY SL2 or RL models). Measure your strut from center of socket to center of socket when fully opened and fully closed to get accurate measurement. Also check for 80 pounds of pressure, or 355N - 356N Newtons of pressure and part number 713119 on the strut. We also offer 29.5 long props for longer beds, in 80, 90 and 100 lb pressures..Comes with four threaded 13mm ball mounts and nuts for alternate 'other than tonneau cover' applications, such as in RV doors and awnings, boat hatch spring lifts, storage bed lifts, etc. These gas shock lift supports CANNOT be compressed by hand. These gas props MUST be installed in the EXTENDED / OPEN position. It is nearly impossible to install them in the CLOSED position.
