Saint David, as we know it today, was the first of the communities represented on a modern-day map of Cochise County, Arizona.In late 1877, most people saw a country to be bypassed - or driven through in haste. But a little group of mormon farming families saw home; a beautiful remote setting along the San Pedro River for the community of their dreams.Stories from the decades that followed take some unexpected turns.
