When Jock Moses returns from Vietnam, he finds the war inside him bubbles up like a volcano, ready to blow at any time. His best friend, Mackenzie Aaron, Jr., who he met in Vietnam, also struggles with anger. Both explode at times. Moses runs from one failed goal to another, while Aaron finds drugs dulls the pain. Both have something else in common-the loss of their fathers. Can the memory of their father's words carry Moses and Aaron past their failures and pain?
