This book is a nutritional self-help guide to educate and enable all kids with asthma and their loved ones to fully understand how asthma acts on the body and how particular nutrients in foods can help alleviate their asthma symptoms. The journey begins with learning about asthma, causes and symptoms and is followed by recommendations each sufferer should follow. The focus is on which foods, in particular, which nutrients, are beneficial and what they can do for the respiratory system and the body as a whole. A three day menu plan is given with the recipes available on my website. The book is rooted in science and is written in a voice that is fun and engaging. Scientific concepts are explained in a language that is both familiar and easy to understand. There are many funny, descriptive figures included that illustrate information and concepts to further understanding.
