Base Line spreaders give you economical ice control and they are perfect for icy walkways or those longer driveways. Meyer offers two sizes in the Base Line series, the BL-240 and the BL-400. Both are designed specifically for light duty trucks or SUVs and they fit right into any 2" receiver hitch. The 1/8hp direct drive electric motor is linked directly to the auger, this provides more power to break up large chunks and for the unit to operate 75% more efficiently than non-direct drive salt spreaders. Both the BL-240 and Bl-400 come with touch pad, in-cab controller that is simple and easy to use. Meyer gives you the control you need to deliver a spread pattern up to 25ft.
