The FB99 helps protect firefighters from prolonged exposure to carcinogens and off-gassing from contaminated turnout gear by containing used gear in an air tight bag until it can be washed at the station.[NOT YOUR GRANDPA'S GEAR BAG] Water & air tight TPU fabric is impenetrable, unlike nylon and polyester, which absorbs liquids and particulates.[HIGHLY ADVANCED CONSTRUCTION] Heat Welded Seams means there are no load bearing stitches in the construction of the bag. All seams are attached by heat, which literally welds the two pieces together, creating an air-tight seal.[WATERPROOF ZIPPERS] Regular coil zippers have exposed teeth which allow air and moisture to escape.
