Formed in the spring of 2001, the origins of Foxy Moon Baby began as a recording experiment between guitarist and composer Dennis Lippe, drummer Casey O'Connor, and audio engineer Tom Campbell. Utilizing their in-depth knowledge of jazz harmony and rhythm, the trio composed songs with uncommon time and key signatures, driven by rock and funk beats, and a focus towards unique textures for each song.
